The Catholic Medical Association is a national, physician-led community of healthcare professionals that informs, organizes, and inspires its members, in steadfast fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church, to uphold the principles of the Catholic faith in the science and practice of medicine.
The CMA is the largest organization representing Catholic healthcare professionals. We are committed to defending the rights and dignity of every human being in their health care. We routinely speak out boldly for the protection of human life and for your right to practice medicine according to your conscience. Our educational conferences are aimed at forming the next Catholic generation of health care workers by understanding first the science behind many pivotal debates that are happening in the public square, and then applying a Christian anthropology to the dialogue.
The St. Raphael Guild, the Catholic Medical Association guild of Indianapolis, is a group of Indianapolis-area physicians wanting to grow in the spirit of Christ in our personal and professional lives, so we can bring His Spirit to the science and art of medicine. We meet monthly for fellowship, discussion, support and prayer.

Glorious Archangel St. Raphael, great prince of the heavenly court, you are illustrious for your gifts of wisdom and grace. You are a guide of those who journey by land or sea or air, cousoler of the afflicted, and refuge of sinners. I beg you, assist me in all my needs and in all the sufferings of this life, as once you helped the young Tobias on his travels. Because you are the "medicine of God" I humbly pray you to heal the many infirmities of my soul and the ills that afflict my body. I especially ask of you the favor of my special intentions and the great grace of purity to prepare me to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
